Your Gift Today Will Help Protect and Save Lives

Our annual March campaign is one of the CDC Foundation’s most important fundraising campaigns of the year. That’s because it provides critical funding for innovative projects and initiatives in the fight against threats to public health. Your donation today will go a long way to make a meaningful impact.

Because we are an independent nonprofit organization, individual contributions from caring people like you are crucial to keeping lifesaving breakthroughs moving forward. Please help make this campaign a success and make your generous gift today before the campaign ends on March 31! Thank you for your support.

Your support helps the CDC Foundation advance
lifesaving public health initiatives.
You are making an impact by helping fuel vital public health projects—like our water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) efforts in America where a lack of clean water can put people at risk of serious health issues. For example,
In Central Alabama,

one in every four people live below the poverty line, making it difficult for families to afford replacing their septic tanks when they fail from the damaging clay-like soil in the region. The CDC Foundation is working with the West Central Alabama Community Health Improvement League to help people gain improved access to water, sanitation and hygiene and educating them about the connection between water, health and disease.

In Jackson, Mississippi,

flooding caused the city’s largest water treatment plant to fail in 2022. Residents faced hundreds of boil water notices and water disruptions across the city that continue today. The CDC Foundation teamed up with the People’s Advocacy Institute to respond to people in need by assessing their water quality and addressing contamination issues.

These are just two of the more than 1,390 life-changing projects we’ve launched in our 30 years—and one of 316 important programs currently underway.
“People aren’t knowledgeable about the resources available and that they have the power to get things shaking and moving. You’ve got to bring people together in order to get something started.”
