Monitoring School COVID-19 Prevention Strategies

The CDC Foundation, working with Deloitte and with technical assistance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has launched a project to collect data on school COVID-19 prevention strategies and the impacts on social, mental and physical health. Through multiple data collection methods, the project aims to identify which COVID-19 prevention measures are being used in schools across the country that provide opportunities to inform guidance for schools and parents. The CDC Foundation has partnered with several national education and nonprofit organizations to disseminate the findings to ensure that the field has access to actionable information that is relevant to decisions being made right now and in the future.

This project is supported by donors to the CDC Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.
