On February 27 and 28, 2023, the CDC Foundation will convene a joint event with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) with the objective to accelerate public health data modernization through public private partnerships.

The CDC Foundation’s “Live to the Beat” campaign is kicking off its second year with an enhanced focus on community outreach aimed at helping address cardiovascular disease in Black adults in the United States.

A new exhibition at the David J. Sencer CDC Museum in Atlanta, titled Trusted Messengers: Building Confidence in COVID-19 Vaccines Through Art, features original art from six organizations working to increase vaccine acceptance in their communities. Their efforts were part of a 2022 collaboration between the CDC Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts that supported 30 organizations across the United States to use art to build vaccine confidence in creative and memorable ways.

These new resources include the Empowered Health Academy, with content tailored to both patients and providers, and a peer support community, including a group directory.
