The CDC Foundation urgently needs your help to protect the health, safety and security of America and the world. Whether we are working to eliminate health inequities, supporting the work of community-based organizations or advancing lifesaving research, none of this is possible without caring supporters like you.
DONATE NOW TO EMERGENCY RESPONSE
The CDC Foundation's Emergency Response Fund is uniquely positioned to provide immediate, flexible resources to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our public health partners to address health emergencies. These responses include everything from emerging disease outbreaks to extreme weather events caused by our changing climate. When a health threat strikes, speed saves lives. Since 2011 alone, the CDC Foundation has responded to dozens of public health threats like hurricanes, influenza, cholera, Ebola, mpox, Zika and COVID-19.
As America's health protection agency, the CDC is prepared to rapidly deploy disease detectives, lifesaving vaccines and medicines and other crucial support during a health emergency at home or abroad. However, federal dollars, even during emergencies, are tied to appropriations or approvals, restrictions and purchasing procedures that can limit CDC's ability to act quickly. We rely on our donors to help us support these programs that tackle immediate issues facing public health and improve the future of our nation's public health protection system.
Join with us to respond to emergencies, and address in-the-moment needs that help save and protect lives.
